Our April Finland photographic tour is perfectly timed to photograph a full array of Finnish wildlife and birds!
In the spring & autumn, the local wildlife can provide an array of photographic opportunities with their curious nature & seasonal activity antics.
During April in early spring, Brown Bears & Wolverines emerge from their winter hibernation and scour the forest for food, while Black Grouse are actively lekking, huge Golden Eagles are in residence, and magnificent owls, including Great Grey fly among the tree canopies.
Autumn is an attractive season in this part of the world as the leaves go from green to shades of red, orange and yellow to render a stunning forest palette of colours. As natures starts to slow down, the Finland wildlife get active, providing a host of photographic opportunities, including Brown Bears, Wolverines, Black Grouse, Moose, forest deer, magnificent birdlife. The Northern Lights have a possibility to put on a dancing display as well!
