Day 1: Casablanca
Upon arrival in Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco, you will be met by your driver in a private vehicle and head to your Casablanca hotel, where you will check in and rest from your travels.
Depending on your time of arrival, you will head to Hassan II Mosque. This is one of the largest mosques in the world (it is the largest active mosque in Africa) and a photographer’s dream building with unique angles and colours. Loaded with religious and historical significance, it will awe you with its sheer size and incredible architecture!
As Casablanca is a coastal city, you will be able to smell the salty ocean air as you marvel at the exquisite minaret. Inside Hassan II, tours are offered at 9, 10 and 11 am and 2 pm and last about 45 minutes to an hour (this can change with the season).

Day 2: Casablanca, Rabat, Chefchaouen
After breakfast, you will depart Casablanca and travel to Chefchaouen. You may route through Rabat, the capital city and residence of the King. Rabat is a modern city with ancient roots, being one of Morocco’s four imperial cities and currently the site of the building Africa’s tallest building, the Mohammed VI Tower (255 metres in height).
Lunch will be enjoyed along the way. You will continue the journey along the coast before heading up through the Rif mountains towards your destination of Chefchaouen, the famous blue city of Morocco. Picture a city where almost everything is a cool shade of blue! Dinner will be served in the hotel.

Day 3: Chefchaouen
Founded in 1471 by Moulay Ali Ben Moussa Ben Rached El Alami, a descendant of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, Chefchaouen was established as a fortress to fend off Portuguese invasions and the town later became a refuge for Muslim and Jewish refugees fleeing the Spanish Reconquista in the 15th century. Over the centuries, it developed into a vibrant cultural and commercial center, known for its distinctive blue-washed buildings, a tradition believed to have been introduced by Jewish immigrants. You will enjoy a delightful lunch in the medina, and dinner will be served in a local restaurant in Chefchaouen.

Day 4: Chefchaouen, to Fes
After an early departure, you will set off to visit a local Berber family located along the route towards Fes.

While no cars are allowed, you’ll see donkeys in the old city, shops with piles of vibrant spices, and storehouses heaped high with hand-woven carpets in every colour and design possible. You’ll hear the call to prayer, reminding the people to carry out their religious duties. Some of the other places you’ll visit will be the tanneries, the King’s Palace, and the potters. After winding your way deep into the medina, you’ll get to have lunch in the heart of the medina.
Dinner will be served in a local restaurant.

Halfway through the journey, you will stop for lunch in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils.
In the afternoon, you will make your way down along the Ziz River Valley. The buildings will fade into a dusty pink as you make your way towards the Sahara Desert. Listen as your driver shares his vast knowledge about the landscape and sceneries before you. Depending upon your arrival time at the hotel you could enjoy some sunset pictures over the dunes.
