Bolivia – Landscapes of the Altiplano Photo Expedition 2019
8 Oct 2019 – 17 Oct 2019
This overland photography tour is designed to get into the heart and soul of the Bolivian Altiplano, focusing on the wild southwestern corner. The plan is to be at the places that are most spectacular during the best times of day for photographing the grand landscape and wildlife.
In order to acclimatize properly we will make our way south, gaining altitude slowly, while visiting surreal locations. Our journey begins in and around the canyons of La Paz, then to Lake Titicaca, followed by a southwards venture to the Salar de Uyuni – one of the highlights of this trip!
These places will leave you breathless – not only due to the beauty but by the surreal light and spectacular landscapes comprising of contoured mountains, glacier-covered volcanoes and shimmering multi- colored lagoons full of pink flamingos.
*** We suggest arriving one to two days prior in order to acclimatize ***
