Finland – Autumn Wildlife & Landscapes Photo Tour 2022
Fully Booked
16 Sep 2022 – 23 Sep 2022
Finland is a small Nordic country situated in the Fennoscandian region of Northern Europe. Bordered by Sweden, Norway and Russia, it is particularly famous for its thousands of lakes and islands, while over 80% of the country remains covered in forest. Our Finland Photo Tour is perfectly timed to photograph a full array of Finnish wildlife and birds! Autumn is an attractive season in this part of the world as the leaves go from green to shades of red, orange and yellow to render a stunning forest palette of colours. As nature starts to slow down, the Finland wildlife get active by engaging in seasonal activity: the Black Grouse are actively lekking again (they lek in spring and again in autumn), Moose and forest deer are in heat which means males will be seeking a mate while Brown Bears and Wolverines are in search of food before hibernating for winter.
The chances of witnessing the Aurora Borealis spectacle are high during this period, and with specialized photographic hides, stunning landscape backdrops, forest tranquillity and fabulous targets, this is a photographic adventure not to be missed!
