This Ultimate Snow Leopard Photo Tour is a rare opportunity to spot elusive Snow Leopards in the wild with ORYX Photo Tour Partner, Bezhad Larry. Bezhad is one of the world’s most experienced Snow Leopard expedition leaders, as well as a professional photographer. As the winter sets in and the snow line descends, the shy and elusive Snow Leopards move down to lower altitudes in search of their prey; the Bhairal, Urial, and the Arghali – the mountain sheep of this region. During this photo expedition, Bezhad and his veteran team of highly-awarded conservationists, trackers, and guides with over two decades of field time and international experience across Snow Leopard habitats, will assist in our photographic venture. Our one of a kind camp strikes the perfect balance between remote luxury and rugged adventure, with central heating, hot running water and cuisine meals, while surrounded by one of the greatest mountain ranges on our planet.  Join us on this once in a lifetime tour!

Days 5 to 12: Snow Leopard Tracking

Our camp’s location is the ideal spot for our photography expedition as the high reaches of the Ladakh Range are prime territory for these magnificent cats.
Snow Leopards are some of the most elusive animals on earth. As the winter sets in and the snow line descends, these shy and fleeting big cats move down to lower altitudes in search of their prey; Bhairal, Urial, and the Arghali, the mountain sheep and antelope of this region. February is a prime month to track Snow Leopards for predator and prey interactions and also for the hopes of seeing mating pairs.
We will take part in daily treks with Behzad and our expert spotters to track and locate Snow Leopards on this once-in-a-lifetime photo tour.

Day 13: Transfer to Leh airport. Fly to Delhi. Transfer to Hotel

After an incredible 8-full days tracking of Snow Leopard tracking and spending time in the beautiful mountains of Ladakh, we return to Leh in the afternoon and fly to Delhi where we will be transferred to our hotel for the night.
