Madagascar – Morondava & Kirindy Photo Tour 2020
2 SPACES AVAILABLE
20 Oct 2020 – 24 Oct 2020
Madagascar is often referred to as the “Eighth Continent” and its exceptional fauna and flora have evolved over millions of years of isolation. This legendary uniqueness is nowhere reflected better than in its lemurs, these primates are native to Madagascar and are divided into 8 families which consist of 15 genera and around 100 existing species.
But the wonder of Madagascar extends well beyond its lemurs, and seeing and photographing the amazing fossa, endemic birds and avenue of towering baobab trees will also be a major focus of this Madagascar photography tour. Virtually every plant and animal on the island is endemic, but sadly, most are threatened by continued habitat destruction, thus making Madagascar one of those “must-visit-soon” destinations.
