Charlotte Arthun

Charlotte Arthun is an American wildlife photographer, tour leader and trained biologist. Over the last ten years, she has specialised in photographing wildlife in remote destinations across Africa, Asia, North America and South America.

Her educational background is in wildlife biology and conservation from top institutions in the United States and also spent several years working in South Africa’s Sabi Sand Game Reserve as the resident photographer for a luxury safari lodge. After many years of working in the industry, she developed a passion for guiding people through their photographic safaris. She now resides between Alaska and South Africa and leads tours to top wildlife destinations across the world.

Charlotte is approachable, patient and has a naturally calm demeanour that easily navigates the complexities of travel in remote areas. As an ORYX tour leader, she strives to connect guests deeper with nature, maximize photographic opportunities, teach photographic techniques and create a profound and seamless travel experience.
